Next Gen Fantasy Tools - 2010 Baseball ProductsNext Gen is dedicated to the next generation of tools for traditional fantasy sports. Our founding product, The Grid has already revolutionized the way you prepare for and execute your live drafts. We have just launched a spin-off product for auctions, called The Grid: Auction. Many of the same features you love in The Grid are there, but of course it is maximized for auctions. In addition, throughout this year's basketball and hockey seasons we've been perfecting an in-season roto management tool for all rotisserie-style leagues: The Rotoscope. This tool will be available for the start of baseball season in 2010. The tool will visually reveal just where you stand in each roto category, where you have room to improve, and where you just have to give it up.
Next Gen Fantasy Tools - Other 2010 Sports
Future Vision - Fantasy 2.0Traditional fantasy sports are growing in popularity. As they do, Next Gen Fantasy is dedicated to finding the next big idea. Are you tired of the best talent in the real sport not being the best performers of fantasy? Are you tired of just acting like a low-level GM throwing a team together and then just sitting there while the stats and results pile up, with little resemblance of who has the best team from week to week? It all ends with Fantasy Fusion. Next Gen's FUSION from the Fantasy 2.0 line fixes everything that's wrong. You still draft a team among a league of owners and compete with them head to head. But instead of having traditional scoring categories and adding up yours and your opponents points, your players' performances are fused together with that of your opponents to play an actual game. For example, in FUSION Football, you will run plays and drives using the actual NFL plays of your players, against actual NFL plays of your opponents' defense. This is a true fantasy team: be the owner, the GM, the head scout, the head coach, the offensive & defensive coordinator ... everything!
Future Vision - Tabletop FantasyThe internet makes the perfect place to play and enjoy traditional fantasy sports, where you have a team of current players and current stats for results. But have you ever wanted to just sit down at a table and play a sports game with a couple of buddies? Have you also wanted to make use of your sports card collection other than looking at them and storing them away? The Tabletop Fantasy line of Next Gen will make it happen. In it's purest sense, fantasy sports is using real players and real stats to simulate competition. Tabletop games are those where you sit down with some friends and just play. We will bring them together by providing a comprehensive set of rules for you to use all your favorite sports cards for hours of gaming fun. Two game types are under development: Sim Games (simulating full games of a sport), and GM Games (simulating many years of competition in one sitting, involving contracts, salary caps, trading, and season simulations).
