Why is it so hard to manage a Roto team?
The answer, to quote Tom Hanks's Jimmy Duggan in A League of Their Own, is that it's supposed to be hard. If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. It's the hard that makes it great.
Put another way, roto-style leagues have so much more depth of strategy that of course they're harder to manage than straight points leagues. It's what makes them a great challenge.
